From Our Chair:

“positive difference”

Hello and welcome to the Typhoons, Lancashire’s first inclusive rugby club.

Since our first training session in January of 2018 our club has welcomed people from all strands of diversity and provides Rugby Union and Touch rugby for new and experienced players alike.

The Typhoons exist to introduce new people to sport and to bring people back into sport but what makes our club special is our commitment to diversity, celebrating our differences and our culture of supporting each other to become better, on and off the pitch.

Many people who join the Typhoons are blown away by the welcome they receive and find a resourceful community they can call on, and a supportive family they can rely on in the toughest situations.

As a club we find ways to make a positive difference in our local community and regularly attend events, give talks to businesses, and raise money for local charities. We’re also proud to boast an incredible selection of local sponsors who really show off the very best selection of Lancashire/NW businesses and the incredible people behind them who repeatedly show their commitment to what our club stands for. As a club we continue to grow and very much hope you can join us on our journey.
